Matching on your device

Your comparison shortlist stays in your browser. Résumé matching first reads the file on your device and does not send it to an AI provider.

What you can choose to save

After verifying your email, you may explicitly save one current résumé, its extracted text, and the candidate fields you review. The file is kept in private storage and a later save replaces the prior record. You can delete this data from the same profile controls.

Email updates

Email updates require separate consent. Saving a résumé never subscribes you automatically. We store your verified address, selected job fields, consent time, and current subscribed or unsubscribed status. When delivery is enabled, Resend receives the address and maintains the delivery contact and suppression status. Every broadcast includes an unsubscribe option.

Analytics and hosting

Optional PostHog analytics runs only after you choose Allow analytics. It records a small allowlist of anonymous product events, with no résumé text, email, search text, session recording or advertising profile. Vercel and Supabase may process ordinary request and account information needed to deliver, secure, and operate the website. When saved profiles open, Cloudflare Turnstile will process security signals to prevent verification-email abuse.

Applications and referral links

When you continue to an opportunity or platform, you leave Remotefolio and the destination’s privacy policy applies. Some links include referral attribution and may earn us a fee. Our redirect protection may keep short-lived, non-resume counters to prevent abuse and respect referral limits.
