Role Summary
The Content Platform Operations Specialist supports the day-to-day operation of digital content platforms and workflows across digital asset management, video, localization, and web content. This role executes routine operational tasks, coordinates content and localization requests, performs quality assurance, supports platform users, and maintains accurate platform data and documentation.
Working within established processes, standards, and governance, the Specialist helps ensure digital content and assets are accurate, organized, accessible, and ready for use across digital channels.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Profile
- Digital Asset & Content Operations: Manage daily intake, categorization, publishing readiness, and maintenance of digital assets, videos, and content across Bynder, Brightcove, AEM and other platforms, ensuring compliance with established governance standards.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring: Perform QA and user acceptance testing for digital assets, videos, translated content, metadata, redirects, web content, and platform enhancements. Document issues and coordinate corrections through established ticketing and workflow processes.
- Taxonomy & Metadata Support: Apply established taxonomy, metadata, and tagging standards across digital assets and content. Monitor for missing, inaccurate, or inconsistent metadata and support remediation to improve content quality and discoverability.
- Support Content Localization Operations: Coordinate and track translation requests and localization workflows between AEM and TransPerfect GlobalLink. Monitor requests through completion, perform operational quality checks, and help resolve workflow issues with internal teams and TransPerfect.
- Platform Administration & User Management: Administer user access, permissions, security roles, platform configurations, and routine maintenance activities for Bynder, GlobalLink, Brightcove, and AEM. Coordinate issue resolution with Digital Technology, business units, external vendors, and platform support teams.
- Workflow Execution & Migrations: Execute operational workflows, such as bulk uploads, content and asset migrations, web redirects, and support tickets, Perform required QA and audit checks before work is completed and released.
- User Training, Enablement, Adoption & Documentation: Support platform onboarding and user enablement by maintaining procedures, training materials, FAQs, and other self-service documentation. Assists with training sessions and provide day-to-day guidance to platform users.
- Continuous Improvement & Reporting: Identify process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to platforms and strategy lead to enhance efficiency and user experience. Monitor platform adoption, asset quality metrics, workflow performance, translation activity, and operational KPIs.
- 5+ years of relevant experience supporting digital content, website, DAM, localization, or related digital operations.
- Familiarity with content management systems; experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital asset management platforms; experience with Bynder is a plus.
- Familiarity with translation or localization workflows and platforms; experience with TransPerfect GlobalLink is a plus.
- Experience coordinating tasks, requests, or workflows across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow documented processes and standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational requests and priorities.
- Comfortable identifying issues, documenting findings, coordinating follow-up and resolution through completion.
- Collaborative, service-oriented approach to supporting platform users and cross-functional teams.
- Interest in digital platforms, content operations, and learning new technologies.
