<p>AfterQuery builds the expert evaluation data that frontier AI labs use to measure and improve their models. We're hiring licensed veterinarians as contractors to author and grade the clinical scenarios those evaluations run on.</p>

<p><strong>What you'll actually do</strong></p>

<ul><li>Author realistic veterinary case scenarios across species, from presentation to plan</li><li>Write reference answers with species specific reasoning, dosing, and differentials</li><li>Grade model output for diagnostic accuracy, toxicity awareness, and safety</li><li>Flag unsafe, out of scope, or fabricated veterinary guidance and say precisely why</li></ul>

<p><strong>Who this is for</strong></p>

<ul><li>DVM or VMD with an active, unencumbered US veterinary license</li><li>2+ years of clinical practice</li><li>Depth in small animal, large animal, or mixed practice</li><li>You can write clinical reasoning clearly enough for another veterinarian to follow it</li></ul>

<p><strong>Contract and pay</strong></p>

<ul><li><strong>$95 to $145/hr</strong>, paid weekly via Stripe. Your rate is set from your experience, not negotiated down after you start.</li><li>Fully remote, fully async. No fixed hours.</li><li>Minimum 10 hours per week, no maximum. Scale up or down week to week.</li><li>No screen recording, no keystroke monitoring, no idle timers.</li><li>Independent contractor. Ongoing project work rather than single task batches.</li></ul>

• Grade model output for diagnostic accuracy, toxicity awareness, and safety
• Flag unsafe, out of scope, or fabricated veterinary guidance and say precisely why

Required qualifications

• DVM or VMD with an active, unencumbered US veterinary license
• 2+ years of clinical practice
• Depth in small animal, large animal, or mixed practice, including pharmacology and dosing
• Clear written English for documenting clinical reasoning
• Able to commit at least 10 hours per week

Preferred qualifications

• Board certification or residency training (ACVIM, ACVECC, ACVS)
• Emergency and critical care caseload experience
• Exotic, equine, or production animal experience
