Write evidence-rich experience and understand what a match score can tell you.
Lead with relevant evidence
Use clear role titles, dates and short descriptions of your contribution. Name tools you actually used and describe the outcome. Include relevant degrees, certifications and projects without adding keywords you cannot support.
Use a readable document
A text-based PDF or DOCX with standard headings is easier to parse than an image or a complex multi-column layout. Review the extracted text and remove contact details you do not want to use for matching.
Read fit scores as a starting point
Remotefolio compares visible résumé evidence with available job information. Skills, role terms and explicitly stated experience can contribute. Missing information stays unknown. A score is not a hiring probability, identity verification or confirmation of location eligibility.
School and employer names
Relevant education and experience can help explain your background. We do not award points just for the prestige of a school or company, and we do not rank you against other candidates.
